Nice and smiling staff. The street is quiet. Breakfast very good. The room and clean and functional. The only downside is no telephone network in the room, forced to leave the Pension to call, despite the Pension\u2019s free wifi (which works). Staff were very nice and helpful, room was basic and small but it was just somewhere to sleep. We had breakfast one morning and it was very basic so bought our own pastries and sorted ourselves out from then on. Its just off the main road so there was no noise from outside of the hotel, the walls are quite thin, so one morning we did hear the people next door doing what sounded like using the bed as a trampoline and a lady praying to god over and over\u2026. Awesome Location. Great Value!<\/strong>\nSet your expectations: this is NOT a luxury hotel and does not try to be. It is a small, clean, safe boutique property in an awesome location on a side street in the Latin Quarter. Walkable to many sights, great restaurants and the Metro. Friendly staff. Sure the rooms are small (like most European boutique hotels), but they are clean and they are air conditioned. Sure the elevator is cramped and slow. Sure you use an old fashioned key that you leave at the front desk. Who cares? Spend your money in Paris on the food and the sightseeing -- come here to freshen up and rest comfortably after a long day.
